Auction Aid is a new company and was formed by experienced Auctioneer Paul young, the main future objective is to hold online Auctions and occasional live events in order to to raise money for good causes, Paul has 30 years experience performing live Art Auctions for various companies in the UK and Ireland.
Paul’s first priority is to assist in the clearing of 20,000 items from the showrooms and warehouses of Charles Phillips and sons of Edinburgh, they occupy a 10 acre site just south of Edinburgh. It’s been designated for a major redevelopment. All Goods have to be cleared by Summer 2025. There will be a series of Live Auctions arranged on the premises to perform this mammoth task. Auction aid will hold offices on site during this period.
Once the warehouses have been cleared Paul will utilise his vast experience and make use of the valuable connections he has made in the industry to procure goods for Auction and raise funds to help charities and good causes. Charities, groups or individuals will be able sign up to a new 24 hour website (which is coming soon ). The Charity supporters will be able to register and purchase quality goods at way below market value with the charity or the good cause receiving the profits, Auction aid will receive a traditional Auctioneers commission for performing the Auction. A win win for all !!!
